The camera never lies...or does it?

Here at Nalla Photography we have one image of a naturally beautiful young girl that came into the studio.

We then decided to edit the image in 3 ways, to see what you think?

When Kerri and I saw her face we knew we had to get her in front of the camera.

The first image shows her natural beauty, straight out of camera.

Now that cameras are so good they pick up every time texture on our skin.

Natural beauty, Nalla Aylesbury photographer, Studio photography. Natural beauty by Nalla PhotographyThe image is taken straight out of camera, no editing.

The second image, has a light edit.

This is what we do for our clients images. We remove slinkier blemishes, soften the skin gently and add a tiny bit of light to the eyes.

The third image is very polished, moving more towards a magazine edit. The skin texture has almost been removed, I have balanced her hair and added more contrast on her features. I have added a blush to her cheeks and pink to her lips.

The forth image is an extreme edit, I have moved facial features and hair to increase the symmetry in the image, I have smoothed the skin even more.

Sharpened all of her beautiful features and added light and dark to enhance the shape of her face and even out skin tone.

So let us know which edit you prefer?

So far facebook users prefer the first straight out of camera image and Instagram prefer the forth heavily edited image.

Thank you for your continued support.
