Cake Smashhhhhhhhhh Nalla Style!

June 03, 2015  •  Leave a Comment

Oh dear, I fear that this blogging malarky may become a little addictive.

Cake Smashes are a fantastic way of celebrating your tiny humans birthday, I recently photographed my big boy's cake smash for his 5th Birthday and he loved it. At some point I will blog about it. (however like any trade person it will probably never get edited being a personal project!)

I digress!

We have recently overhauled our cake smash packages and created a new Nalla Cake Smash Information Pack. Please give us a shout if you would like to see a copy.

If you have never seen or heard of the concept of a cake smash the idea is as follows!

Photographer + Small (Birthday Celebrating) Person + Cake = Fabulous Memorable Images (Perfect for 18th Birthday Party Invitations in years to come).

Each package comes with at least One professionally printed square collage of multiple images of the cake eating messiness.

We start each session with a (Clean) Princess/Princess Photo shoot.

This is a lovely opportunity to have beautiful images of your child looking like the angelic little creatures that they are. Then we bring in the Cake....... (My favourite bit) After the cake has been demolished with the Extra Bubbles package we stage a bubble bath and clean your little one up ready to go home for a real bath.

Now this sounds incredibly messy, however it is generally contained within our set-up. If you would like a cake smash at home, we require a free and clear 10ft sq space to work in, preferably with a large uninterrupted natural light source. (A large window or patio doors are perfect).

This is Archie Celebrating his 1st Birthday Cake Smash in the Aylesbury Studio.

The majority of people assume that cake smashes are only for babies turning One, however we have had great success with older children having just as much fun.

Elizabeth and Charlotte really enjoyed sharing cake for Elizabeths 5th Birthday celebrations.

I do hope you have enjoyed looking at this blog as much as Kerri & I enjoy photographing Cake Smashes.

Please email or call us for further information.
